Courtesie is based in Herefordshire, close to the border with Wales. We can travel across England and Wales to give performances of dance and illustrated talks on costume and dance. A talk ‘Dressing the Elizabethan Lady’ is of particular interest, showing how a high status lady of the 16th century was dressed from chemise and corset outwards to be ready for her day.

We are shortly going to add a new period to our repertoire. Regency dance and costume are very different to our previous work but are equally entertaining and enjoyable. More information will be posted on this website in due course.

We recently appeared on the Great British Railway Journeys programme on BBC2, when Michael Portillo travelled from Swansea to Hereford, stopping off in Leominster. Here he visited the Lion Ballroom where we were filmed in Victorian costume dancing a quadrille with him.
We rehearse in Leominster on Fridays 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
